Overdyed Rugs
A very popular style in our extensive range is the Vintage Over-dyed Carpet. These carpets are very much sought after due to their unique visual appeal and contemporary color pallet.
Each over-dyed carpet in our range is unique. We personally travel throughout Turkey, Iran and other Middle Eastern countries to select vintage carpets which are suitable for upcycling as over-dyed carpets considering the quality of original workmanship and materials, appeal of designs and motifs and colors suitable for re-dying.
We take great care to prepare each carpet and personally oversee each stage of the process. Firstly, we select suitable pieces and carefully hand-wash to remove and residual dirt. Next, the pile on each piece is sheared to a uniform depth and then the whole carpet is immersed in a dye bath to create a carpet which features many shades and hues of the main color.
